Awesome!!! I just recently finished up beta testing the latest version of Toon Boom’s Storyboard Pro 2 software that is now on sale this week. I’m happy to announce they have selected to feature my artwork in all 5 of their new Promo videos for this latest release of the software.

Wow! Where did the month of July go? LOL Man, I’ve been busy. I had planned on updating my blog this year on a more regular basis to keep people in the loop on what I’ve been up too. However, this past month things have gotten a little out of control. Besides juggling a house full of kids home for the summer, I’ve been doing everything from designing Tattoos to working on a new childrens book series for a Canadian publisher. I’ve also been squeezing in a little beta testing for the next release of Toon Boom Storyboard Pro 2. Yup! I’ve been busy, but here’s a quick little sketch for you off the Wacom Cintiq.

Sweet!!! I just upgraded my blog without a hitch to WordPress 3.0. Everything seems to be running real smooth. Hmmm… now I’m thinking about moving my blog over to my main website.

Anime Studio Pro 7

I just picked up a copy of Smith Micro’s new version of Anime Studio Pro this week. This latest version 7 sports a ton of cool new features. One of the coolest features I think they added this time around was a Physics engine. The Physics engine enables you to do some complicated animations in just a matter of minutes. I’ve used this program off and on in the past for some TV commercial work and have had some nice results. I look forward to putting this latest version to the test.

Toon Boom Animate Pro Samples

Here are a few samples of 2D animation I put together for a water conservation exhibit in central Florida. I decided to use Toon Boom Animate Pro over Adobe Flash for this project. I’m glad I did, Toon Boom Animate Pro saved me a ton of Time and Money!

Here’s 2 animated LeBonheur Children’s Hospital spots I did shooting boards for recently. The spots were produced by Dempsey Film Group in Little Rock, Arkansas and turned out really nice. VO on both of them was done by Morgan Freeman.
